Still hoping for that Mac article today - perhaps you are going over the announced ATI X800 XT?

about the ~20mil transistors in for PureVideo... wasn't that thing supposed to accelerate encoding and be fully programmable as well? Whatever happened to all that? Will it be another 6months for a newer driver to enable those features or are they completely nixed?

sheesh Anand... maybe you should take some time off, have some chicken soup, do what relativly newlyweds do, all that stuff

I think most of your readers could subsist on the articles written by the non-anand anandtech staff for a week... and do you really want to cater to the people who can't?

Speaking of video card stuff Anand, is there any chance we could get the GPU Cheat Sheet updated to reflect ATI's new GPUs? It would be useful for when we're trying to explain some things to the new users over in the forums.

And sorry to hear about you getting sick; I came down with a cough I just can't get rid of right when finals were over and I was heading home. On the flip side, being sick makes it very easy to manipulate people in to doing things for you, so don't consider it all bad.;-)

PS 1/5/05, eh? Let me guess, ATI will launch X-series cards for the Mac? If so, that's a bit odd, I would think Steve would want them to wait until MacWorldSF 2K5 a couple of weeks later
