Prices in AMD's upper-end processors fell quite drastically this week, with the Athlon XP 2000+ dropping $35 and the Athlon MP 1900+ falling $53. You may recall from our last price guide that AMD CPU prices went up quite a bit. It appears that this week AMD is bringing the prices back down to more reasonable amounts. Lower end processors also benefited from lower prices this week, although not on the same level.
